WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

We use the standard process inspired by the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which includes steaming, drying, grinding and hand encapsulating the placenta. During this process we adhere to the utmost standards of cleanliness, using careful preparation techniques for consumption.

Although we believe the placenta is made perfect in and of itself, we do lightly steam it over lemons. However, we do not add any additional herbs or spices to your placenta during the process.

HOW MANY PILLS DO I GET?

We only use the highest grade of Vegetarian Capsules that have no preservatives or animal products and come in an easy to swallow size. You can start taking the pills right away and they should last you around three weeks. The placenta can make anywhere from 60-200 pills depending on the size of the placenta.

HOW MANY DO I TAKE?

We recommend 3-2-1....3 at breakfast, 2 at lunch and 1 at dinner. But it truly is up to you and how you are feeling. If you are feeling extra down one day, you can definitely take more as needed. However, we don't recommend taking them right before bed as they are known to give you increased energy.

WHAT IS A TINCTURE?

Along with the pills, we offer two tinctures for an extra $30. Our tinctures are made with 100 proof alcohol and a small portion of your placenta. One contains raw placenta and the other powder. The tinctures take about five to six weeks to be at their full potential and can be used the same as the pills. Two to three drops are equivalent to one pill. 

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Please tell your healthcare provider in advance that you wish to keep your placenta. Most hospitals will be aware of your rights to keep your placenta and most will provide a "Release of Placenta and Waiver Liability" form for you to sign once you are at the hospital. It is important to keep the placenta on ice until we pick it up from you. The hospital will provide a small tupperware or ziplock freezer bag and we highly recommend bringing your own cooler for you to keep the placenta on ice and for us to transfer the placenta. We will happily return your cooler to you with the pills.

First - shoot us an email and let us know you are interested! We will have you fill out some paperwork and once you have delivered, you can give us a call!  We will come pick it up from you as soon as possible*. Easy peasy! We strive to personally hand deliver the pills back to you the next day. Email, call or text if you have any questions! We only encapsulate one placenta at a time and our schedule can fill up quickly, so it is helpful to book in advance. We will get back to you shortly and email you all additional information.

*To ensure the utmost care and cleanliness, we only encapsulate one placenta at a time. Therefore, if we happen to already be processing a placenta, there is a small chance we will have to postpone pick up for 12-24 hours.
